Live Forum on Mental Health

To celebrate Mental Health Month, RAMHP partnered with The Land and NSW Farmers to hold a live forum on mental health at the Australian National Field Days in Orange.

Following the release of the second Glove Box Guide to Mental Health, the aim of the live forum was to engage with people in rural and remote NSW and to encourage them to talk openly about mental health. Hosted on The Land site, the forum provided members of the public with an opportunity to ask questions about topics covered in the Guide.

Members of the audience asked questions on topics ranging from depression and anxiety, to how to deal with loss and grief, and what to do when you are concerned about a loved one.

RAMHP would like to thank the forum facilitator, Ian Armstrong AM, and panel members Frank Quinlan, Tristram Duncan, Heather Gant, Michelle Schmich and John Ward, for their valuable contributions. RAMHP would also like to thank The Land for making the event a success.
